Sometimes socialists are nice people with different views.
Sometimes they’re just wrong.
Take this post on frogblog and note my comments below it.
So do the greens not know the definition of peak oil, or do they not understand supply and demand?
Either way, it’s a pretty scary thought – please can we not have these people running the country after the election!

…but to be fair, it isn’t unlikely that peak oil is connected to a “step-change in the growth rate” (to quote the CEO) of supply and demand.
If demand increases, we get to peak oil that much faster….. and consequently a whole lot less supply….

sure and that would be fine if that was what frog was blogging about.
but frog based a whole post around the fact that the ceo ‘admitted’ that peak oil was going to happen in 2015 when that wasn’t what he said.
the ceo said some interesting things, some of which probably support frog’s view, but instead he chose to deliberately be deceptive on the blog (or just doesn’t understand it at all).
